Athletic journo: David Moyes should stick with Ben Johnson v Liverpool
West Ham will take on Liverpool in their next Premier League clash on Sunday at the London Stadium.
The Hammers are heading into this match on the back of a 2-2 draw against Genk, and they have qualified for the next round of the Europa League.
Two goals from Said Benrahma sealed a point for David Moyes’s side, but they could have earned more from their visit to Belgium.

Moyes started with Vladimir Coufal at right-back against Genk. The 29-year-old returned after an injury lay-off and did well.
The Athletic journalist, Roshane Thomas, has suggested that Moyes should drop Coufal against Liverpool and stick with young Ben Johnson instead who has been terrific thus far.

Huge game on Sunday
It’s a massive game on Sunday.
West Ham can leapfrog the Reds in the league table if they win. However, Jurgen Klopp’s side are in fantastic form at the moment, with Mo Salah enjoying the form of his life.

Liverpool have not lost a single game this season, but the Reds have shown they can be vulnerable at times. They drew 3-3 against Brentford, while Brighton came from behind last week to earn a 2-2 draw at Anfield.
It would be fascinating content. At the same time, given the form we’re in, we shouldn’t be afraid of anyone. Rather, Moyes should take this as an opportunity to match Liverpool toe to toe, and prove a point that we are serious about getting into the top four this season.
The team selection has to be spot on, and Johnson should start. He is full of confidence at the moment and has hardly made any major defensive errors.
