Arthur Masuaku touches down in Istanbul to finalise Besiktas loan-to-buy move, West Ham United pay part of wages
West Ham United player Arthur Masuaku has touched down in Istanbul to finalise his transfer to Besiktas, according to Ryan Taylor.
The Express journalist has reported that the initial loan will have an option-to-buy included, with a medical now pending before the move is announced.
It is shared that Besiktas will only part-cover the wages of Masuaku, meaning that GSBK will still need to stump up cash every week for the left wing-back.

Writing in his Taylor’s Tuesdays column for the Express, the journalist shared the latest regarding the next exit set to go through at the London Stadium.
“Arthur Masuaku is in Istanbul to undergo a medical ahead of a season-long loan switch to Besiktas,” he wrote.
“The Turkish giants will cover part of the player’s salary with West Ham and will also have an option to buy the full-back at the end of the campaign next summer.”

Progress.
It was about time that West Ham United started moving some bit-part players on, and that has been done fluently this summer so far.
What this does mean though, is that David Moyes and his team must be confident of a breakthrough soon for a new signing in that area themselves to sanction this one to go through.
Eintracht Frankfurt defender Filip Kostic and the pursuit to bring him in has been nothing short of a pain so far, although Alessandro Lucci, his agent, is said to be trying to persuade him into the move.
With Masuaku going, it leaves Aaron Cresswell as our only senior left wing-back now, although he may be used more centrally in a back five this season once replacements come in.
It may be Kostic, it may be another new face, but one thing for sure if that we need a new left-sided player as a priority in the coming days with the Premier League season now right around the corner.
Good luck, Arthur.
