Arthur Masuaku likely to leave West Ham United permanently next summer

Arthur Masuaku has become surplus to requirements at West Ham and the club will look to sell him permanently next summer, as per ExWHUemployee.

The reliable Hammers source wrote on his Patreon (8 October) Masuaku, who is currently on loan with Besiktas, could be in demand next summer.

Besiktas will be looking to make the deal permanent, but other clubs could show interest in the 28-year-old left-back.

West Ham

Inevitable

Masuaku joined the Turkish club in the summer transfer window on loan, and it became very clear that he is not in David Moyes’ long-term plans.

He is a senior player at the club who has made over 125 appearances since joining the club in 2016 from Olympiacos.

The DR Conga wing-back has made eight appearances for the Turkish club this season, and they are keen to sign him permanently.

West Ham

It shouldn’t be a big problem unless other clubs join the race and the Hammers could smell an opportunity to make some money out of it.

Moyes has bolstered the left-back areas by signing Emerson from Chelsea, but he is yet to make a big impact so far. Based on his early performances, he doesn’t look like a big update on Masuaku either.

Masuaku is very good going forward but his defending has let the team down on many occasions. It seems his time at the London Stadium is truly over.
