Arthur Masuaku could now be out for months with new West Ham United injury – ExWHUemployee
West Ham loanee Arthur Masuaku could be out for months after picking up a knee injury, as per ExWHUemployee.
The reliable Hammers source wrote on his Patreon on 7 November that the 29-year-old defender has been ruled out for a sustained period of time with a bone edema injury.
The defender, who is currently on loan at Besiktas, could be out for three months, if not more.

“Arthur Masuaku has been ruled out for a sustained period of time. Whilst reports are unclear the injury could be up to three months and appears to be a Bone Edema injury to his knee,” wrote Ex on his Patreon.
“Arthur has had problems with his knees for a number of years and this is bad news for the defender who turned 29 this week. The player is on loan to Besiktas in Turkey for the season and has made a good start to his career at Slaven Bilic’s former club.”
No future
Masuaku has made a strong start in Turkey but it seems he could be out for a while.
He has been suffering from knee problems for a while, and the injury has come as a big blow for him.
Masuaku joined the Hammers in 2016 and went on to make over 125 appearances for the club.
He has primarily played as a left-back but can also operate as a left winger as well.

Masuaku has a contract at the London club until the end of the season, and it is likely that he will be sold in the summer. He has got no future under David Moyes who signed Emerson from Chelsea as his replacement this summer.
Besiktas has an option to make his loan move into a permanent once but will they do it remains to be seen.
If the Turkish club refuses to sign him permanently, Masuaku will become a free agent, and given his quality and experience, there won’t be any shortage of clubs for him.
