Arnaut Danjuma entourage fully rule out West Ham United move as Newcastle now circle

The entourage of Villareal winger Arnaut Danjuma have fully ruled out a move to West Ham United in the future, according to AS.

It has been reported on the website of the Spanish outlet that the Dutchman is instead now focusing on the new season staying put ahead of the World Cup in Qatar.

The Hammers were said to be locked in talks over the box-office signing, but those have not come to fruition and no change should now occur this summer.

Interestingly, a move back to the Premier League could still happen in 2023.

Newcastle United are now said to be circling around Danjuma, but it appears as though no move would actually be made by the Magpies until next summer.

That comes after the Magpies were said to be ready to hijack our move for Nayef Aguerd, something they were not successful in doing last month.

West Ham

No chance.

So much has happened regarding this deal that it is time to fully put a line through it.

David Moyes was said to have personally scouted the winger, with personal terms said to have been agreed before he apparently pulled the plug.

That should tell you all you need to know about how confident the manager was about this potential move, and we back the gaffer if that’s what he felt was right.

The Irons need to target that final third now after the arrival of Flynn Downes on Thursday [07 July], with a new striker and potentially another winger critical.

Of course, a new winger may depend on the future of Said Benrahma, but a new striker has to be a non-negotiable regardless of what happens in terms of outgoings.

This has to be the main priority now for West Ham United, they have to do all they can to make sure it happens.
