Andy Townsend drops transfer suggestion for West Ham United forward Jarrod Bowen
Andy Townsend has showered heaps of praise on West Ham forward Jarrod Bowen.
The talkSPORT pundit has suggested that the Hammers attacker would be an ideal fit for Manchester United.
He is confident that the Hammers will receive bids for Bowen in the summer after a spectacular campaign.

He said on talkSport: “Jarrod Bowen has been great. He’s been so good lately. I tell you what, I bet you West Ham get a bid or two for him in the summer, I bet they do.
“Would you have him at Manchester United? Like a shot you would. He can play anywhere. I’ve seen him play up the middle for West Ham, on one side. For United, he’d get in the team wherever he likes. I would play him off the right-hand side.”
Unlikely
The 25-year-old has been in spectacular form this season for the Hammers.
He has played 50 games in all competitions this season, scoring 18 goals and providing 11 assists.
Bowen has shown his versatility by playing in multiple positions, including upfront. But it is behind the striker where he is most effective.
The left-footed winger loves to get into the box, and he is a brilliant finisher.
Townsend is probably right assuming that the Hammers will get offers for Bowen, but the club have no intention to sell him.

Unless West Ham get a big offer from clubs like Liverpool or Manchester City, it’s unlikely they will part ways with one of their key players.
Bowen has a contract at the club until 2025, and he has shown no inclination to leave the Hammers anytime soon.
Manchester United are traditionally a big club but they are on the decline. Without Champions League football to offer, it looks difficult for them to lure Bowen away from the London club.
