Agent of Nikola Milenkovic set for Fiorentina meeting, West Ham move imminent
West Ham United look set to complete the signing of Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic imminently.
Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that the Serbian’s agent has sat down with the Serie A club at lunchtime on Saturday to define his exit, meaning by now it should be complete.
The Sky Sports journalist suggests that if no last-minute hitches were found, Milenkovic will seal a move to the London Stadium.
There appears to be contrasting reports all over Europe this week.
One minute Milenkovic is on the verge, and the next, we are at the beginning of talks yet again.
Thankfully, it looks as though talks have finally gone positively, and we are seeing some movement in the market.
Milenkovic arriving this weekend would give him a week before the Premier League opener with Newcastle.
Anxious wait.
Moyes will be biting his fingernails hoping that this meeting between agent and Fiorentina is the last.
Milenkovic is certainly looking like the number one defensive target and has racked up some impressive experience.
At only 23-years-old, he has captained the Viola and looks set to take the Premier League by storm.
With Juventus and Manchester United both reportedly taking a look this summer, the Irons could be about the make a real statement.
