Agent moots West Ham United move for Bayern Munich ace Leon Goretzka, deal to be done
A deal is “out there to be done” for Bayern Munich ace Leon Goretzka, with agent Jon Smith mooting a move to West Ham.
Writing for CaughtOffside, the agent believes the Hammers “might well” land the 28-year-old this summer as a replacement for Declan Rice.
The midfielder boasts almost 200 appearances for the Bundesliga club, while he has made over 50 appearances for the German national team.

“I’m not sure how much of the money that West Ham have sucked in from Arsenal is going to be spent because the Rice deal is being paid over two years,” Smith wrote for CaughtOffside.
“They won’t have it all in one go anyway. Leon Goretzka is out there to be done, somebody will get him and it might well be West Ham.”

Hugely exciting option
West Ham supporters are understandably still gutted to have lost their star man and club captain Rice, with the England international making a summer switch to Premier League rivals Arsenal.
His exit will leave a huge hole in the club’s midfield, with David Moyes trying his best to fill that hole as soon as possible ahead of the new season.
And it is a season that promises to be very tough, with the Hammers now set to compete domestically and in the Europa League following their Europa Conference League success last time out.
Their efforts will definitely be made much easier if the East London club can somehow persuade Goretzka to come to the London Stadium this summer.
The midfielder has vast experience on the pitch, with Goretzka boasting five Bundesliga titles and a Champions League trophy from his time at the Allianz Arena, along with several other pieces of silverware.
In other West Ham news, one Hammers ace is “pushing” for a move to Saudi Arabia amid “serious interest” in the player.
