Adnan Januzaj trains alone amid West Ham United transfer link

Adnan Januzaj is facing a “delicate” situation about his future, amid interest from West Ham, as reported by Diario Vasco.

The newspaper reported on 28 July that the Belgian winger is still without a club, and he is looking for his last big contract.

He remains a free agent at the moment after leaving Real Betis, and he is training alone to keep himself sharp ahead of the next season.

West Ham have been mentioned as one of the clubs interested in signing him, while Napoli, Betis, and clubs from Qatar and Saudi Arabia are also keen.

No way

Januzaj is a free agent, and there could be a temptation from clubs to get him on board.

The Hammers must avoid him at all costs, despite the fact that David Moyes likes him very much.

Moyes gave him regular chances at Manchester United, where he showed great promise.

However, his future took a dramatic turn downwards after Moyes left the club. He failed to cement his position at Manchester United and joined Real Sociedad in 2017.

He managed 168 appearances for the Spanish club, and scored 23 goals.

At 27, he should be playing at the peak of his form. However, there is little evidence to suggest that he can resurrect his career at West Ham, a club that are showing great ambition in the transfer market.

Signing Januzaj will be a gamble and it can work both ways. If he turns out to be a success, Moyes will be hailed as a transfer genius, but the Hammers appear to have cooled their interest.
