Adnan Januzaj now in London for West Ham United talks over new transfer
Adnan Januzaj is now another player currently in London to hold talks with West Ham United this week, according to ExWHUemployee.
The reliable source has reported that Lucas Paqueta is on the verge of becoming the Irons’ record transfer, although the club are clearly not finished there.
Januzaj is currently a free agent after leaving Real Sociedad but is also holding talks with another separate club as the race starts to heat up this week.
Writing on the official West Ham Way Patreon page on Friday [26 August], Ex shared that another new transfer is now also on the cards at the London Stadium.
“Adnan Januzaj is another target we first reported interest in January and then again on 22nd July,” he wrote.
“He is apparently in London at the moment having discussions with us and another club.”
Busy.
West Ham United are going all in across the final week of the window.
There is a mad rush given that another club may be in the race, but there is time to work with given that you can sign free agents outside of the window.
Januzaj is available for transfer and is clearly taking his time after missing pre-season with an official club, although he will have surely been putting in that work.
David Moyes will know the Belgian who was once considered a young wonder, and that relationship could give the Irons the upperhand in negotiations.
The attacker would add much-needed depth in the final third, with options out wide needing freshening up after struggles at the start of the Premier League season.
A deal is on the verge of being announced for Paqueta, but we could see that quickly turn into two new names at the London Stadium in a matter of days.
