Adam Hlozek expected to remain at Sparta Prague this season – The Athletic

West Ham United look likely to miss out on Sparta Prague forward Adam Hlozek this season, according to The Athletic.

It is reported that the attacking sensation is likely to remain in the Czech Republic this season before his next move.

David Moyes is said to be confident about adding outfield options in the final couple of weeks of this month, with an attacker on that list.

West Ham

90min shared the initial story back in April, but this suggested move doesn’t look to have got off the ground in that time.

It was suggested that Hlozek is one of Europe’s most sought-after young players after shining at EURO 2020.

Bayern Munich and Juventus were named as some of the admirers he has been watching but it looks as though no one is winning the race as of yet.

Vladimir Coufal and Thomas Soucek have both recommended that the Irons make this signing, but they are bound to be disappointed.

West Ham

Another off the list.

We are cutting it extra fine if we want to sign a forward this month.

With a central defender still not being signed, that will remain the priority until it happens, with Kurt Zouma and Nikola Milenkovic off the list.

There are two weeks remaining in this window, and with another week likely needed to bring in that defender, it leaves us with the final seven days to get it over the line.

Hlozek looks unlikely to arrive, and the only other name is Jesse Lingard, and that may be the one we go all out for.
