Abdou Diallo one of top targets for West Ham United with Issa Diop expected to leave

West Ham defender Issa Diop is still expected to leave this summer, if Fulham come up with a £20m offer, as reported by ExWHUemployee.

The reliable Hammers source wrote on his Patreon on 28 July that the Hammers are lining up several options, but Paris Saint-Germain defender Abdou Diallo is one of the top targets for them.

Ex also suggests that PSG want around £17m for the Senegal international who is primarily a centre-back but can play at left-back as well.

The Guardian journalist, Jacob Steinberg reported on Twitter on 27 July that the Hammers are reluctant to sell Diop to Fulham, especially after the injury to Nayef Aguerd.

The summer signing has been ruled out for 12 weeks, and the club won’t let him go unless they find a suitable replacement.

However, Ex has a slightly different version. It seems like the Hammers will sell him provided Fulham meet their asking price, irrespective of whether they sign a replacement or not.

Diop has been heavily linked with a move away from the club, and chances are high that he could leave.

West Ham can easily use the money and spend it on Diallo who would be a fantastic addition to the club.

Diallo has made 75 appearances at the club in three seasons for PSG, but the French giants are looking to offload him

The Hammers are also willing to sell Arthur Masuaku if they can manage to sign a left-back this summer.
