Zouma starts; Benrahma set to miss out - Predicted West Ham XI v Manchester United
Kurt Zouma is expected to start his first Premier League game for West Ham when they take on Manchester United on Sunday.
The Frenchman was handed a start in the Europa League against Dinamo Zagreb and proved he’s ready to be thrown into the eleven for a big league clash.
Man United have struggled on their travels to the London Stadium in the past and David Moyes will be looking to inflict more misery on his former employers.
In goal, Lukasz Fabianski will start after impressing in mid-week, making Alphonse Areola having to wait long and hard for his Premier League bow.
At right-back, Ryan Fredericks played against Zagreb, but Vladimir Coufal is likely to come back into the playing eleven.
Issa Diop also started on Thursday and is expected to make way for Angelo Ogbonna who has played every league game this season.
He will partner Zouma at the heart of the defence while Aaron Cresswell will start at left-back.
In midfield, Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek are almost untouchable but David Moyes could look to add some solidity and deploy Alex Kral to make it a three-man system in the middle of the park.
Given the quality the Man United side possesses, it may be a wise move to start with Kral.
Nikola Vlasic disappointed in mid-week and we’re expecting him to make way for Jarrod Bowen who will lead the line in Michail Antonio’s absence.
Said Benrahma remains a doubt so Manuel Lanzini could be handed a rare starting on the wings while Pablo Fornals is almost a nailed on starter on the right flank for the Hammers.
