West Ham United ace Lucas Paqueta savaged by BBC pundit after Chelsea loss
Don Hutchison lashed out at Lucas Paqueta after what he did in West Ham v Chelsea, which ended 5-0 to the latter at Stamford Bridge on 5 May.
The former Liverpool and Everton midfielder was also not impressed with Angelo Ogbonna not doing his job properly.
That was the last game over David Moyes’ uncertain future as the club made a decision that he will be leaving at the end of the season.
Speaking on Premier League’s Weekend Wrap, Huthchison, a BBC pundit said (5 May, 21:03): “Players were shocking. Watching this game in real time was embarrassing. See Paqueta there, a liability. Ogbonna has not done his job. How easy do you want it to be?”
West Ham players were shambolic v Chelsea
This was a clear indicator of the team’s overall poor performance and that it was time to change the manager. Each player on the pitch demonstrated a lack of skill, effort and cohesion, with specific criticisms directed at Paqueta and Ogbonna.
The team’s inability to compete effectively against Chelsea was seen as a reflection of Moyes’ management style and his failure to motivate and organise the team.
Consequently, the decision to part ways with Moyes at the end of the season was viewed as a necessary step to address the team’s ongoing issues.
The collective failure of the West Ham players and the management’s inability to address these shortcomings ultimately led to the conclusion that a change in leadership was required.

Hopefully, Moyes gets a good send-off by the fans as he’s done an incredible job even though the football was not all that glamorous.
In other West Ham news, a £10m release clause claim has emerged as the Hammers have been given a chance to hire an ‘Elite’ manager.
