West Ham ace Jarrod Bowen wows Sky Sports pundit in first half v Leicester
West Ham United have a real star on their hands with Jarrod Bowen and he hit the headlines again in the first half against Leicester with a fine goal.
The 25-year-old ran onto a long ball from Issa Diop, a late replacement for the unwell Kurt Zouma in the starting lineup, and calmly slotted it beyond Kasper Schmeichel to give the Hammers a deserved lead after 10 minutes.
Sky Sports pundit Alan Smith was amazed at how coolly he finished the move given the pressure being applied from the Foxes defenders behind him.

“Bowen’s got a free run at it, still plenty to do and this is the confidence of a player that’s scoring regularly,” Smith said on commentary.
“What a fine finish that is by Jarrod Bowen, he made that look easy.”
Most inform player in the league
It is becoming inevitable now that Bowen is going to score almost every time he plays and that won’t be a concern for David Moyes if he keeps this up.

He scored the winner against Watford in midweek and in extra time stoppage time at Kidderminster in the FA Cup, proving his importance to the Irons.
He now has more goal involvements than any other English player in the Premier League and only Mohamed Salah has more at Liverpool.
But the Egyptian has been away at the Africa Cup of Nations for the past month and that has seen Bowen become the most inform player in the league.
His importance to the team rivals that of Declan Rice in midfield and with every goal he scores, his stock rises considerably and he is surely now a shoo-in for Gareth Southgate’s next England squad in March.
In other West Ham news, we think the club should try and sign this defender in the summer after what he did yesterday.
