Rio Ferdinand reacts to Manchester United winner against West Ham
Rio Ferdinand took a swipe at his brother Anton as footage appeared of Edinson Cavani appearing to be offside against West Ham on Saturday.
Anton shared an image where Cavani looked like he was in front of the final Hammers defender.
However, his brother replied with a cheeky tweet as that decision in favour of the Manchester outfit saw them picking up three points on the afternoon with a 1-0 win.
Via his personal Twitter account, Rio said, “I’m afraid it was judged onside bruv.”
Undeserving
The decision made very little sense and we cannot understand how VAR did not see that as an offside.
Looking at it from the naked eye, it shows that the Uruguayan has gone clear of the last West Ham player.
The Hammers, who dominated most of the game, deserved to come away from it with at least a point.
To see the game stolen from them within the last few seconds would certainly have been a bitter pill to swallow.
However, David Moyes can take a lot of heart from this performance and would be proud of how most of his players fared.
This was a six-pointer for fourth place and unfortunately, the Hammers ended up on the wrong side of things.
