Richard Keys react to West Ham United incident in Premier League v Brighton
Richard Keys has insisted that Brighton were unlucky not to get a penalty as West Ham United countered to a 3-1 win at the AMEX Stadium on Saturday 26 August.
The BeIn Sports host suggested that Lucas Paqueta should have been penalised for his clear shoulder barge on Pervis Estupinan in the second half.
Keys pointed back to Tim Ream being sent off for similar last week when Fulham crashed to a heavy defeat against Brentford, although West Ham won’t complain.
Writing on his personal Twitter account, Keys said: “Not a red at Old Trafford today.
“Forest were hard done by. Not a free-kick when Fernandes dived and United equalised. Solanke should’ve seen red at Bournemouth when he smashed Van de Ven and Brighton were unlucky there.
“Brentford got a pen for less last week and Ream was sent off.”

Nonsense.
This has never been and was never a penalty.
Keys is known for simply saying things to try and go against the grain, but there was nothing in this challenge that could even make it slightly look like a penalty.
Shoulder to shoulder has never been a foul, and Paqueta was just simply too strong for Estupinan, who was muted all afternoon down the same side as Kaoru Mitoma.
The Brazilian has been in the headlines for weeks now from his potential move to Manchester City to this new scandal, but he was sensational yet again in midfield especially here.
David Moyes will have nothing but positives for every last member of his squad, who despite conceding, were solid for the entire game under a lot of pressure.
This was a mountain out of a molehill reaction, as is usually the case, and there was nothing to see here in the end as the officials and VAR agreed.
Time to move on, what a win.
