Keys and Gray in agreement amid ‘Worrying’ West Ham development
West Ham United suffered their 16th Premier League defeat of the season as they were beaten 3-2 by Brighton on Saturday.
The Hammers had seemingly done enough to claim three points on the South Coast when Tomas Soucek established a 2-1 lead on 83 minutes.
However, late goals from Kaoru Mitoma and Carlos Baleba ensured that Graham Potter did not enjoy a happy return to the Amex Stadium.
West Ham have now failed to win in the Premier League in seven attempts, and should be all the more determined to beat Tottenham next time out on 4 May.

Andy Gray and Richard Keys outline West Ham concern
Before the London Stadium club lost to Brighton, only the already-relegated duo Leicester and Southampton sat below Potter’s men in the form table over the past six matches.
Speaking on beIN SPORTS [26 April, 2.44pm], Richard Keys said: “That’s worrying. Three wins in 14 since he took charge.
“There’s no pressure at all, and he has time to shape things he wants them, but it’s not good.”
Andy Gray added: “Yeah, that is a tad worrying.”

Potter must turn matters around at West Ham
While Gray and Keys were rightly concerned by the Hammers’ poor form before their defeat at Brighton, matters have only become worse.
Opponent | Result |
Bournemouth (H) | 2-2 D |
Liverpool (A) | 2-1 L |
Southampton (H) | 1-1 D |
Brighton (A) | 3-2 L |
Having held a one-goal lead so late in the second half, the London Stadium outfit should have had enough quality to get themselves over the line and beat the Seagulls.
However, Potter’s side showed a serious lack of game management and instead suffered a 3-2 defeat at Brighton by conceding two goals in just three minutes.
Although the former Chelsea boss only took up the dugout duties at West Ham in January, he could already be under pressure given the Hammers’ poor performances.
Having earned just 36 points from 34 Premier League outings this term, the London Stadium club can count themselves lucky that they are not in a relegation battle despite sitting just 17th.
Potter must now guide the Hammers to a strong run of form before an otherwise poor season reaches its conclusion next month.
