Nayef Aguerd starts – West Ham United confirmed starting XI v Tottenham
David Moyes has confirmed his West Ham United starting XI for the Premier League clash against Tottenham on Sunday, 19 February.
The Hammers arrive on the back of a four match unbeaten run in all competitions, but have fallen back under pressure following wins for relegation rivals Everton, Bournemouth and Southampton on Saturday (18 February).
Confirming the line-up via the club’s official Twitter account, Moyes has made two changes to the side who drew 1-1 with Chelsea at the London Stadium last weekend.

Nayef Aguerd keeps his spot in the line-up despite going off last week with an injury, while Tomas Soucek and Flynn Downes come into the team.
The injured Lucas Paqueta misses out after picking up a shoulder issue, while Said Benrahma is dropped to the bench.
Pressure on
This weekend’s results couldn’t have gone much worse for West Ham United. As the club continued to nurse several players back to fitness, other relegation rivals sprung surprises to gain crucial three points in the Premier League.
Southampton looked like a side possessed in their 1-0 win over Chelsea, while Bournemouth and Everton also picked up what could be pivotal 1-0 wins in their fight against relegation.
Prior to these results, there was an air of positivity around the London Stadium about the mini-revival under Moyes in recent weeks. Now, with the club back in the relegation zone, and facing a Spurs side who will want to get back to winning ways following their battering to Leicester last week, things looks that little bit more concerning.
Although the Hammers’ season won’t be judged on this match against Spurs, a result could help to ease nerves at the club. The upcoming matches against Nottingham Forest, Brighton and Aston Villa will certainly be vital if West Ham have any intentions of drawing themselves clear of the relegation zone before the season’s finale.
