Lee Dixon slams Harry Maguire as Man United incident v West Ham United broadcast live by ITV
Harry Maguire was needlessly booked for a challenge on Michail Antonio as Manchester United beat West Ham United 3-1 in the FA Cup, according to Lee Dixon.
Maguire, 29, was booked in the 27th minute for taking out 32-year-old Antonio in a harmless position when the Hammers forward has his back to the England international.
Referee Michael Salisbury didn’t hesitate to book Maguire with ex-Arsenal right-back Dixon suggesting that the Man United man will have regretted his slack foul.

Speaking on ITV1 on Wednesday night (1 March, 08:13pm), Dixon said: “He’s not going to get away with that one.
“Michail Antonio has a little look over his shoulder and sees him coming, he just uses his body to shield the ball.
“He knows where the challenge is coming in.
“It’s clever play from Antonio and Harry Maguire will look at that and think, ‘did I need to go in to challenge him?’ He was standing behind him, he wasn’t going to go anywhere.”

Unfortunate?
West Ham were very close to getting a big FA Cup win away at Manchester United.
Erik ten Hag’s men rallied in the final third of the game after Said Benrahma controversially put the Hammers ahead in the 54th minute.
Was the ball out of play moments before when Tomas Soucek had it? We’ll never know for sure – but it did look very close.
Nayef Aguerd’s own goal was a shocker. He obviously didn’t mean it but he sure did look as though he was doing his best to find the back of his own net.
Alejandro Garnacho then put the Hammers ahead with a great curling effort in the 90th minute.
Poor finishing and poor defending let us down. Antonio had a shocker, didn’t he?
It just feels as though Man United were there for the taking.
We’re still in the Europa Conference League and have a good draw for the round of 16.
Let’s hope our wait for silverware doesn’t go on much longer.
