Jamie O’Hara takes swipe at West Ham owners in instant reaction to defeat v Tottenham
Jamie O’Hara slammed West Ham after his former club Tottenham won 3-1 against David Moyes’ side in the Premier League on Sunday.
Kurt Zouma’s own-goal, followed by a brace from Heung-min Son, were enough to see out a win for Spurs, who lost their clean sheet just before half-time when Said Benrahma scored for the Hammers.
After the game, O’Hara not only took aim at West Ham’s performance but he also swiped at their owners for not adding to the squad in the January transfer window.

“Big result keeps us in the mix,” said O’Hara when talking about Spurs via his personal Twitter account in an instant reaction to the game on Sunday [20 March].
“West Ham were poor today. I said it before the game we have to capitalise on their tiredness and we did.
“No investment from West Ham owners could cost them European football.”
He’s right
As much as we hate to admit it, we have to agree with O’Hara.
West Ham shot themselves in the foot by not adding to the squad in the January transfer window when they so obviously had to.
Moyes’ squad has been devoid of a proper striker for over a year now while Declan Rice and Jarrod Bowen cannot be relied upon to carry the team because injuries, suspensions and loss of form all affect the best of players.
Our failure to make any January signings also sent out a very bad signal to those top players.

Rice and Bowen are among those who’ve been linked with big moves away from the London Stadium and we wouldn’t be shocked if they were seriously disappointed by David Gold and David Sullivan’s lack of action in the winter window.
If top-class centre-back and centre-forwards were brought in, we may have not only increased our hopes of a top-four finish but we may have also done ourselves good in an inevitable bid to keep Rice for longer.
In other West Ham news, the Irons want to sign this “incredible” defender with his price-tag set to be slashed by 65 per cent.
