Dubravka and Dummett set to miss West Ham clash

West Ham have been handed a boost as Newcastle’s Paul Dummett and Martin Dubravka are set to miss the game on Sunday.

The Hammers kick start their Premier League campaign with an away fixture against Steve Bruce’s Newcastle side.

They will certainly be looking forward to the game as the Magpies are set to miss out on two first-team players.

According to The Chronicle, Bruce said, “Aside from the goalkeeping situation [Dubravka’s injury], the only one out is Paul Dummett who won’t make it on Sunday. Everyone else is fit and available.”

Let’s win this

Even without the two injuries, we would’ve started this game as favourites, but the absence of the pair gives us an even better chance of picking up three points.

We’ve had a terrific pre-season campaign and all our fringe players got plenty of game time so a few of them could look to push on this season and get more first-team minutes under their belt.

Said Benrahma will be one to watch out for after a slow start to life at the London Stadium.

We’re expecting him to start and he’s likely to give the Newcastle defenders a run for their money.

David Moyes is still looking to get players in, but we believe the side is strong enough to go out there and begin the season on the right note.

Newcastle will once again be tipped to fight against relegation and we must capitalise on any nerves at St. James’ Park and put in a performance that prepares us for a tricky game against Leicester City next week.
