Reports of West Ham attacker Jarrod Bowen potentially being ruled out for six months are not accurate, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert believes that his injury was a lot more innocuous than first feared after giving some scares over the international break.

There were reports that stated he’ll be out for six months but that’s not understood to be the case and he should be back sooner than expected.

Speaking exclusively with West Ham Zone, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said:

The only reason for those reports to be true, we’re talking over six months out – would be an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

However, that is certainly not the case.

West Ham

The 26-year-old has been in immaculate form for the Hammers this season as he had eight goals from 12 games ahead of the clash v Burnley.

He’s also given Gareth Southgate selection headaches and has made a case for being picked in every international squad.

It remains to be seen if he can become a regular for England ahead of the EUROs over the summer.

In other West Ham news, a BBC pundit has admitted that he’ll come out of retirement just to play with a West Ham star after what he did recently.
