Confirmed West Ham starting XI v Brighton

West Ham United have made three changes to their starting XI for the Premier League clash against Brighton on Saturday evening.

David Moyes has decided to welcome back Declan Rice into the starting side after his recovery from his latest injury blow.

Confirmed on their official Twitter account prior to kick-off, the Irons have also dropped the likes of Said Benrahma and Issa Diop.

The big news throughout the week has been the return of Rice.

We have missed the England international and our skipper massively, especially with Mark Noble also sidelined this month.

Tomas Soucek will now be given the reigns to get forward whenever he likes, rather than having to consistently hold throughout the game.

Manuel Lanzini has shown glimmers of hope in this role in recent weeks, but his injury and attacking style has stifled some of his teammates.

West Ham

Must win.

This is a match we simply have to win.

With Chelsea and Leicester having played in the FA Cup final today, there is a real chance to put pressure on them in the Premier League.

Liverpool and Everton are also picking up a head of steam going into this final handful of games, so three points is a priority for Moyes.

Three points would take us within one game of Chelsea in the fourth spot, but possibly more importantly secure our place in the Europa League spots.

We simply can’t throw this away and have to show exactly why we are here.
