Jesse Lingard handed debut – Confirmed West Ham starting XI v Aston Villa
West Ham United have made two changes to their starting XI for the Premier League clash against Aston Villa on Wednesday evening.
David Moyes has handed a Hammers debut to Jesse Lingard after the England international missed out against Liverpool.
Confirmed on their official Twitter account prior to kick-off, the Irons have also started Ryan Fredericks, dropping both Jarrod Bowen and Pablo Fornals.
The reverse fixture ended in a 2-1 victory at the London Stadium, but Moyes admitted that it was one of the hardest so far this season.
“We found that game really rough and we were probably very fortunate to win the game in the end at our place,” he said.
Moyes will be hoping that his side makes it much easier on him this evening, with Villa having had tough challenges against the likes of Burnley and Southampton recently.
Keeping Jack Grealish quiet could be vital, and Declan Rice will have a massive role to play against his fellow England international.

It is vital that the Hammers bounce back after that disappointing 3-1 defeat against Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
Moyes will have unhappy that his side missed the chance to establish their spot in the Champions League places, instead dropping out.
Three points are vitally important at Villa Park, they cement our spot in the top-six, and also keep the home side out of touching distance ahead of their games-in-hand.
