Ally McCoist wowed by what ‘magical’ Mohammed Kudus did for West Ham United v Manchester City
West Ham United winger Mohammed Kudus blew Ally McCoist away with a “magical” finish in the Hammers’ clash with Manchester City.
David Moyes’ tenure in charge of the Irons’ came to an end with a 3-1 defeat at the Etihad on Sunday (19 May) with a Phil Foden brace ensuring Pep Guardiola’s side lifted their fourth consecutive Premier League title.
While the result would have been disappointing for the Scotsman and those who made the trip to Manchester, they were at least treated to a spectacular goal from Kudus which left McCoist gobsmacked on air.
Speaking on TNT Sport on Sunday (19 May, 16:46) he said: “That should be worth two! What a goal that was.
“He’s been magical, he really has.”
Will West Ham United lose Mohammed Kudus in the summer transfer window?
It may not have been the perfect season for West Ham fans, but Kudus has been a shining light for the Irons ever since he arrived from Ajax last year as he has gone from strength to strength.
His goal at the Etihad on Sunday was just one of his many spectacular efforts this season and while it may not have counted for much in the grand scheme of things, it rightly got plenty of fans and pundits out of their seats.

Julen Lopetegui will be hoping the former Ajax man can hit new heights under his management, but it might be hard for the Hammers to keep him in East London this summer if he continues to score these sorts of goals.
Hopefully, Kudus will still be plying his trade in claret and blue come the end of the summer transfer window. Other sides may be keen on securing his signature, but they will have to pay big money to prize him away.
