Adrian Durham stunned by what Mohammed Kudus did in West Ham United win v Ipswich
Dave Rowe and Adrian Durham were left aghast by Mohammed Kudus after he celebrated the goal that sent West Ham United 2-1 up.
The Hammers hosted Kieran McKenna’s men at the London Stadium on 5 October and beat the Tractor Boys 4-1.
Kudus bagged the Hammers’ second of the game and deliberately sought out a bench to perform his celebration on after the bust-up he and Julen Lopetegui had last week during the Brentford draw.
Speaking live on talkSPORT (5 October, 15:44pm), commentators Rowe and Durham shared their reactions to Kudus’ celebration.
“He [Kudus] is now sat down on a bench in front of the fans, that’s remarkable,” Rowe first said.
The talkSPORT commentator then revisited the celebration later in the show and said: “It is definitely a Kudus goal.
“The celebration is one to watch out for because he was obviously taken off at half-time last week and now he has deliberately sought out a bench and sat on it.
To which Durham replied: ” I don’t know what he’s trying to say there Dave, do you?”
Mohammed Kudus is a West Ham United star
The bust-up between Lopetegui and the Ghana international has been the talk of the town over the last week or so.
The two clashed heads when the Spaniard chose to bench Kudus at half-time during their game against Brentford.
Although the bust-up didn’t cause Lopetegui to drop Kudus as he named an unchanged team v Ipswich, it still feels as if there’s some tension between the two, especially after his celebration.
West Ham had an abysmal start to the term but after their victory against Ipswich, things could finally be on the up for Lopetegui and his men.

Which, in all honesty, has come at the exact right time. The 58-year-olds future has been under severe scrutiny in recent weeks with fans even questioning whether the manager is the right man to lead them forward.
Of course, there’s still plenty of time left in the season for things to change but if they manage to keep up their momentum from the Ipswich game, they should be in safe hands.
