What supercomputer has already predicted in West Ham vs QPR
West Ham United resume their Championship campaign against Queens Park Rangers on Friday night.
As the first international break of the season draws to a close, Hammers fans will be desperate to see their side back in action.
They don't have much longer to wait now, and what better way to welcome Nuno Espirito Santo's side back than with a London derby under the lights.
QPR have made a good start to the 2026-27 season, with the R's sitting sixth after eight games.
Julien Stephan's side have tasted just the one defeat this term, and look to have made significant strides over the summer after finishing 15th the last two seasons.
Despite this, an early supercomputer prediction is piling the pressure on West Ham to take the points at the London Stadium.
QPR may feel offended by West Ham supercomputer prediction
Nuno and his West Ham players certainly won't be underestimating the threat QPR pose on Friday.
They may not have won any of their last four, but they're still unbeaten in the last three and are firmly in the early-season promotion picture.
Nuno's side are winless in their last two games in all competitions, but they're being strongly backed to end that against QPR.
Opta Analyst's supercomputer is giving West Ham a 59.9 per cent chance of beating QPR.
The away side are only afforded an 18.9 per cent chance of victory, with a draw being given a 21.2 per cent chance of being the full-time outcome.
But what is West Ham's recent head-to-head record against QPR, and does it offer any further clues on the location the points will be heading on Friday?
When was the last league meeting between West Ham and QPR?
It's been quite some time since West Ham and QPR was a league fixture.
The Loftus Road outfit haven't been in the Premier League since the 2014-15 season, in which they finished bottom.
As such, the last time these two met in the league was in April 2015, with that one ending in a goalless draw at Loftus Road.
West Ham did of course defeat QPR 2-1 after extra time in the third round of last season's FA Cup, with Taty Castellanos and Crysencio Summerville scoring that day.
QPR haven't beaten the Hammers since a 1-0 win in October 2004, back when this fixture was last being played in the Championship.
Since then, West Ham have won four of the six meetings in all competitions, with the other two ending in stalemates.
Perhaps, then, the history books show us why the supercomputer is so confident of a Hammers win over the R's on Friday.
