Richard Keys has named Graham Potter as the man he expects to succeed David Moyes as the new manager of West Ham.

The pressure is growing on Moyes on the back of a poor run of form, culminating in Sunday's (11 February) 6-0 thumping against Arsenal.

Keys does not expect Moyes to stay on at London Stadium beyond the summer when his existing contract expires.

Speaking on beIN SPORTS [11 February, 16:24], Keys said: "We shouldn't really speculate about his job, but Graham Potter comes to mind.

"He's one they might look at. I don't think [Moyes] has a long-term future there."

Co-host Andy Gray simply replied with: "Yeah."

Who will succeed David Moyes as West Ham manager?

On the basis of how results have panned out since the turn of the year, it is difficult to see Moyes being handed a new contract.

Unrest from supporters is now at an all-time high following the truly abysmal performance against Arsenal.

That loss makes it six games without a win in 2024 - a run that also includes an FA Cup defeat against second-tier side Bristol City.

United are sliding down the Premier League and desperately need to arrest this form if they are to remain in European contention.

Speaking of Europe, the Europa League knockouts are on the horizon and elimination in that could prove the end for Moyes.

Should that be the case, Potter would be as good a shout as anyone. He impressed at Brighton before an underwhelming spell at Chelsea.

Either way, West Ham chiefs could do with making it clear whether they intend to keep Moyes on or not to end this uncertainty.
