Kalvin Phillips has had a terrible start to his career at West Ham since arriving on loan in January, and may now have caused a further stir with his activity on social media.

Following the 5-2 defeat to Crystal Palace on 21 April, Ebere Eze took to his Instagram page where he shared a compilation of his display - a video which Phillips has liked.

The midfielder already appears to be checked out from his time at the club and continues to show disregard and a lack of consideration of the fans for his actions.

This comes shortly after former Hammers forward Frank McAvennie told West Ham Zone that Phillips' time at the London Stadium may already be over with the fans having turned on him for his actions on and off the pitch.

The midfielder was recorded swearing at the fans after the 4-3 defeat to Newcastle at St James' Park as the rift between the player and the supporters continued to grow off the back of his less-than-impressive performances.

His arrival at the club was almost immediately marked by a mistake on his debut as he presented the ball straight to the opposition forward to score because several mistakes across his next few games saw him axed from David Moyes' side.

In the defeat at Selhurst Park, Phillips came off the bench for the first time since that controversial defeat to Newcastle but could not make the difference or help his team gain any control of the game as Moyes would have hoped.

When you consider the money spent to bring him to the club for just six months, including his extortionate wages, Phillips has been a terrible deal for the Hammers and continues to show no regard for the fans.

He seems to be mentally checked out already and all parties will be waiting for when his loan spell ends.
