West Ham fans can breathe a sigh of relief over Jarrod Bowen after Mohamed Salah dropped a hint over his Liverpool future.

According to Football Transfers [29 August 2023], the Reds listed Bowen as a potential replacement for Salah if the Egyptian was to leave Anfield last summer.

Rumours of the 31-year-old's departure have continued to the latest summer transfer window, as have the reports suggesting that they could replace him with West Ham's biggest star.

However, Salah's most recent message to the Liverpool fans would suggest that the Hammers fans can breathe a sigh of relief over Bowen's future at the club.

Following Liverpool's final-day victory over Wolves, Salah took to X on Monday (20 May), writing: "We know that trophies are what count and we will do everything possible to make that happen next season.

"Our fans deserve it and we will fight like hell."

Considering Bowen's form at the London Stadium this season, amidst a set of disappointing results under David Moyes, it comes as no surprise to see a Premier League giant targeting him.

The 27-year-old has notched 20 goals and 10 assists in all competitions, emerging as a fan favourite at the London Stadium and seems unlikely to force a move away this summer.

With the appointment of Julen Lopetegui, the winger will likely be given more of an opportunity to thrive next season and could notch even more goal contributions in a new team style.

Of course, it might be difficult for Bowen to turn down a move if Liverpool were to make an official bid. However, that point no longer seems to matter, with Salah set to stay at Anfield this summer.
