West Ham are expecting a busy summer, with Graham Potter's squad needing an overhaul after a disappointing showing in the Premier League last season.

The Hammers have endured a slow start to the transfer window, but the latest headlines suggest that could change soon.

Diouf expected to sign after transfer fee agreed

El Hadji Malick Diouf is expected to become Potter's newest signing after a transfer fee was agreed with his club Slavia Prague.

The Senegalese wing-back will move from Czech Republic to East London in a deal worth at least £21.5 million.

That will make him the most expensive player to ever be bought from a Czech club.

West Ham told to think twice over Ipswich playmaker Hutchinson

Omari Hutchinson has been linked with a move to West Ham for a reported £25m.

Hutchinson was one of the bright sparks in an otherwise sorry season for Ipswich, as they were relegated from the Premier League with a miserable tally of 22 points.

Several clubs are competing for Hutchinson's signature, but Premier League commentator Ian Darke has suggested the Hammers should think twice before opening their chequebook.

"He does come with that relegation and question mark hanging over him, he has had a season in the top-flight, and he has not come up with the numbers," Darke said.

Hammers eye Japanese goalkeeper Suzuki

The goalkeeping position was far from secure at The London Stadium last season.

Alphonse Areola was considered the number one for most of the season, but he also had spells on the bench.

Lukasz Fabianski has been released, and Potter was believed to be interested in Chelsea stopper Robert Sanchez.

Suzuki is just 22 years old, but he enjoyed a solid campaign in Serie A last season.

West Ham interested in Frendrup, but Genoa are looking to hold firm

Danish midfielder Morten Frendrup remains in West Ham's sights.

The Hammers had a bid of more than £21m rejected by Frendrup's club Genoa last summer.

Reports suggest that West Ham are one of several clubs targeting Frendrup in this transfer window, but the Serie A side's high demands could complicate matters.
