The Hammers continued their summer preparations with a trip to Ibrox.

It's fair to say that it didn't go as well as their 5-0 win against Stevenage to continue pre-season with a bang.

Instead, Nuno Espirito Santo's side played out a goalless draw against the Scottish giants.

West Ham Zone covered West Ham's draw against the Gers as the performance largely frustrated the E20 faithful.

There were some poor performances on show, but Lamadrid arguably raised eyebrows most.

His loan move in January didn't really make sense as he made just one senior appearance.

The problem is that the West Ham man really shouldn't be getting done by the same trick twice, he should have learned from the first time and stopped it happening again.

But, he didn't.

If it's that easy to get past him, Championship attackers and defenders will have a field day against him.

Lamadrid gives West Ham clear transfer plan

Unfortunately, if the 22-year-old is the best the Hammers have got, they are in trouble.

Nuno won't win the Championship and is unlikely to truly push for promotion with the forward as a regular starter.

Lamadrid may be young, but has never truly shown any reason why he was brought in and deserves to feature more than as a substitute once in a blue moon.

That gives the Irons a clear direction for travel in the transfer market as a new winger signing is paramount.

Going into the campaign with the Venezuelan as a key option is a recipe for disaster and needs to be avoided by all in East London.
