West Ham: David Ornstein drops 'plausible' Graham Potter verdict amid David Moyes sack decision
David Ornstein has delivered his verdict on whether Graham Potter could be a potential successor to David Moyes at West Ham.
The Scot has continued to come under heavy pressure at the London Stadium, even despite ending a run of eight matches without a victory after 4-2 and 3-1 over Brentford and Everton.
Moyes has had success at West Ham, including winning last season's Europa Conference League, but fans have often been frustrated by a pragmatic style of football.
Questioned about the chances of Potter replacing Moyes at the London Stadium via The Athletic's Q&A on Thursday (14 March, 3:37pm), Ornstein replied: "West Ham are a club many in the industry suggest could be a more plausible destination.
"But I don't know of a decision being made on whether David Moyes will continue or, even if he doesn't, whether Potter would want to go there."

Despite being sacked by Chelsea in his last managerial job, Potter is an accomplished and exciting manager, who would bring a lot to West Ham.
His experience with Brighton & Hove Albion proved exactly what he is capable of in the Premier League, which the Hammers should definitely be taking note of if they are to sack Moyes before the end of the season.
This is not to suggest that Moyes' impact at the London Stadium should be understated, having lifted the club's first piece of European silverware in decades after beating Fiorentina in the final of the Europa Conference League.
The Scot breathed fresh air into West Ham upon his second appointment, but there is only so long that a manager can live off past accomplishments when everything is going wrong in the current season.
Obviously, the London side managed thrilling victories over Brentford and Everton, winning their first and second games of 2024, but it seems like Moyes is only papering over the cracks amid fans calling for his sacking.
The style of football is one of the biggest complaints. It is certainly understandable, but are so many fans complaining when the results are positive? Probably not.
