Three youngsters Nuno could hand West Ham debuts to vs Fulham, including future star

West Ham United's Carabao Cup clash with Fulham could be a prime chance for some academy talents to make their debuts.

Nuno Espirito Santo is sure to make some changes to his West Ham side that beat Wrexham 6-0 last time out.

Particularly in the previous round against Southampton, a host of youngsters were drafted into the starting lineup.

Lewis Orford, Keiber Lamadrid, Ezra Mayers, Airidas Golambeckis and Finlay Herrick all started in that 4-1 win in the second round.

That proved that Nuno is willing to hand opportunities out to youngsters in cup competitions this season.

So, ahead of Tuesday night's third-round tie with Fulham, West Ham Zone picks out three Irons academy talents who could make their professional debuts in this one.

Junior Robinson has earned long-awaited West Ham senior chance

With Joel Veltman dealing with injury and Nuno perhaps cautious over playing Kyle Walker-Peters in the Carabao Cup, a door may have opened at right-back.

Junior Robinson has been with West Ham since the age of six, but has yet to make a competitive appearance for the Irons' first team.

Now 22, he spent last season on loan with Scottish Premiership side Livingston and National League outfit Boreham Wood.

He's turned out 62 times for West Ham at Under-21 level, and has started 2026-27 in strong form in Premier League 2.

It's getting to the now or never stage with Robinson at the London Stadium, and so Fulham feels like an ideal chance to see what he can do.

Now let's head to the opposite end of the pitch and take a look at a striker who has a strong goalscoring record on his CV.

Daniel Cummings has Champions League pedigree under his belt

Signed in last year's summer transfer window, Daniel Cummings joined West Ham as a highly-rated striker from Celtic.

The 20-year-old Scottish youth international made his lone Celtic first-team appearance in the Champions League against Aston Villa.

However, he's been confined to academy football with the Hammers, scoring six times in 22 games for the Under-21s last term.

Cummings has two goals in five appearances to start this season, and with Taty Castellanos perhaps in need of a rest, he could be sniffing his senior debut.

It's unlikely he would start as Joel Piroe or Pablo could lead the line too, but Cummings could realistically hope for an introduction from the bench.

There is one other wildcard striker that Nuno may be too tempted not to throw into the deep end against Fulham as well.

Bailey Pammenter has future West Ham first-team star about him

Signed from Cambridge City as a schoolboy in November 2025, Bailey Pammenter is a 16-year-old striker mature beyond his years.

After beginning his West Ham scholarship this July, he's already netted five goals from five Under-18 Premier League games this season.

Pammenter has also notched an assist in that time too, and may soon be fast-tracked into the Under-21s as a result.

West Ham have never been a club afraid to take first-team gambles on their young starlets, and Pammenter may need to get used to playing at the London Stadium.

That's because if he continues on the upward trajectory he's on, this teenager will become very well known to Irons fans over the coming years.
