Three West Ham players who risk being left behind as Nuno Espirito Santo U-turn in full swing

Nuno Espirito Santo has finally found the right West Ham formula as they have soared to the top of the Championship.

The Hammers had went the first three games of the league season without a win, and sitting on just two points from a possible nine.

However, since then, they have managed to accumulate maximum points from the following four fixtures.

Not only are West Ham leading the charge in the Championship, but they are also the highest scoring side.

An excellent turn of events for the Portuguese manager.

But with Nuno finally getting things to work at London Stadium, that could spell bad news for some in his squad.

Where does Pablo fit in West Ham's plans now?

It is hard to see Pablo becoming a West Ham regular again anytime soon, particularly with Taty Castellanos and Joel Piroe firing the goals in at the moment.

Since signing in the winter window just a few months back, the Brazilian is still waiting for his first goal for the Claret and Blues.

As West Ham continue to have an uptick in form, Nuno will be more unlikely to change things up, and making it harder for the South American to force his way in.

And he may ultimately be left behind as the Hammers push for promotion this season.

What is next for Keiber Lamadrid in East London?

Keiber Lamadrid was officially purchased by West Ham for £1million in the 2026 summer window.

However, he has had little to no impact since making his move permanent in E20.

With Manor Solomon in top form, Jarrod Bowen as good as ever, and new arrival Edvin Austbo on the scene, Lamadrid's place in the squad is under question.

Additionally, with Rush Green prospect Joshua Ajala emerging as a top academy product, Lamadrid is already being quickly left behind.

Soungoutou Magassa set for no involvement after summer antics

Soungoutou Magassa tried to secure an exit out of London Stadium, but in the end the Hammers would block his departure.

Magassa has not been part of a West Ham squad since 25 August in the Carabao Cup against Southampton.

On that occassion he was an unused substitute.

While the Irons did want to keep him due to him having some top qualities as a midfielder, they really haven't needed him much so far.

Divine Mukasa has settled in well in the middle of the pitch, while Arne Engels has had his moments, although yet to truly have a breakout moment in a West Ham shirt.

Mohamadou Kante has also been impressing, while Lewis Orford has got numerous chances so far this season.

Alongside with Tomas Soucek's return from injury, Magassa may have lost any possible place in Nuno's squad.
