The two-decade first West Ham will tick off with victory over Millwall

West Ham United can do more than just claim bragging rights by beating Millwall at The Den.

The Dockers Derby rivalry is reignited after a 14-year absence when the fierce foes face off on Saturday lunchtime.

Form, we are often told, goes completely out of the window for games such as this.

West Ham fans will hope that is not necessarily the case, however, as their side are flying right now.

The Hammers have won four Championship matches on the spin to move to the summit of the division.

That is where Nuno Espirito Santo's men will be hoping to stay over the three-week break, but they will need to achieve a two-decade first to do so.

West Ham are rightly considered the favourites to beat Millwall, who are four points worse off in the league and are in 11th place.

On top of this, there have been three or more goals scored in each of West Ham's last five matches.

It could make for an entertaining showdown in South London, with only one outcome really mattering - a West Ham win by any means neccessary.
