West Ham United will look to put the disappointment of Queens Park Rangers behind them on Wednesday.

Nuno Espirito Santo's side will still be reeling from their missed opportunity from the penalty spot against the R's.

The good thing about the Championship is that it doesn't allow you to stew on a result for too long.

Wednesday night sees the Hammers travel to the ProAmpac Stadium for a clash with newly-promoted Lincoln City.

The Imps took League One by storm last season, winning the third-tier title with 103 points.

And after making a solid start to life in the second tier, they won't be pushovers for the Hammers by any means.

What has the supercomputer predicted to happen in Lincoln vs West Ham?

Lincoln have played four league games at home this season, and have been unable to pick up a win from any of them.

As such, West Ham will be many people's favourites to turn up on Wednesday and take all three points.

Opta Analyst's supercomputer has reflected this notion with it's early result prediction percentages.

It's given West Ham a whopping 45.7 per cent chance of victory, with Lincoln only afforded a 29.6 per cent chance of a win.

A draw is given a 24.7 per cent chance of happening, which is surely a result that the Imps would take right now.

The sharing of the points is perhaps indeed the most unlikely outcome, as Lincoln haven't done so in any of their last five games in all competitions.

So, when was the last time Lincoln beat West Ham, and when was the last meeting between these two teams?

West Ham predicted XI vs Lincoln City: Tomas Soucek dropped already in three changes

Who scored in West Ham's last win vs Lincoln?

Given West Ham's Premier League heritage and Lincoln never having been a top-flight club in its 142-year history, clashes between these two are rare.

Indeed, the last time these two met was in the third round of the Carabao Cup in September 2023.

Tomas Soucek scored the only goal that day, as his 70th-minute strike sealing a 1-0 victory in Lincolnshire.

As detailed via Transfermarkt, West Ham and Lincoln have met 15 times in the past, with the Hammers winning eight and the Imps four.

However, City haven't tasted a victory against the Irons since April 1956, with West Ham beating them again in December of the same year.

That means Nuno's side will be tasked with protecting a 69-year unbeaten run against Lincoln on Wednesday night.

Should that record come tumbling down, it would be one of the biggest shock results in the entire 2026-27 Championship season.
