West Ham United are open to selling Mohammed Kudus to fierce London rivals Tottenham this summer.

Scott Parker was the most recent player to move directly between the two clubs, doing so in 2011 when joining Tottenham from West Ham for around £5million.

Kudus has long been linked with a West Ham exit, with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle United and indeed Tottenham showing an interest.

However, it is now looking increasingly more likely that Tottenham could end up being Kudus' next destination.

How much do West Ham want for Kudus?

And according to The Guardian (30 June), Tottenham will not have to match Kudus' £85million release clause to sign the Ghana international.

Indeed, it is reported that a bid of £60m will suffice, with sources close to the club stating that money is extremely tight.

The report adds that West Ham risk falling foul of PSR if they do not raise some funds to offset any signings.

Sullivan has nobody else to blame for West Ham mess

West Ham find themselves in a position in which they are forced to sell their second biggest asset - behind only Jarrod Bowen - to their biggest rivals.

David Sullivan has nobody else to blame, with the East London club's finances clearly in a terrible position right now.

West Ham are in desperate need of more players, never mind selling the ones they already have.

It is widely accepted Kudus did not have a great season last time out, but let's not forget he was being linked with an £85million exit just a year ago.

All of a sudden that price tag has dropped by £25m and West Ham are seemingly so eager to sell that they are willing to end this 14-year embargo of sorts with Spurs. That really is an embarrassment for Sullivan.

It sums up the position the Hammers are in right now, with the squad likely to become weaker before Graham Potter can even consider bringing in some of his targets.
