Karren Brady next to leave West Ham after Graham Potter as past comments surface

Graham Potter's tumultuous spell as West Ham United manager is finally over.

Potter has been sacked by West Ham after just 25 games in charge, with the 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace proving to be the final straw.

The Hammers allowed Potter to perform pre-match duties ahead of Monday night's trip to Everton, where he claimed that positive talks had taken place with the West Ham board.

Those talks have proved futile in the attempt to save Potter's job, but the former Chelsea man shouldn't be the only one out of the door in East London.

Karren Brady lauded Graham Potter appointment

Karren Brady has been a divisive figure among West Ham supporters during her time as vice-chair in East London.

Brady previously gave her backing to Potter after West Ham's 3-0 defeat to Sunderland on the opening day of the season, while also being a major plaudit of the Englishman after his appointment.

Following Potter's first match in charge, a 2-1 FA Cup defeat to Aston Villa in January, Brady wrote a long column in The Sun hyping up the appointment, calling the former Chelsea boss an "elite" manager.

Brady said: "In Graham Potter, we have recruited another very good man.

"A hugely respected elite Premier League coach, and someone who was the unanimous choice of our Board to steer our project back in the right direction.

"From our early conversations with Graham, we felt the overwhelming sense that he is the right fit for West Ham United, as are we for him."

Karren Brady now has to pay the price for shocking mismanagement

The West Ham ownership has been a mess for years now, and was only masked by the heroics of David Moyes domestically and in Europe.

The fact that Brady gave her full backing on talkSPORT to Potter, only just to sack him weeks later, shows the shocking amount of ineptitude at the top.

Premier League football has passed the likes of Brady and David Sullivan by now, and it's time that the pair sell up their shares in the East London side, as they clearly don't have the club's best interests at heart.

They have potentially saved the Hammers' season by sacking Potter early enough, but its only a matter of time before they make their next mistake, whether that be on or off the pitch.
