West Ham United continue to do themselves no favours when it comes to the London Stadium.

The East London arena is certainly a source of great frustration for fans, and it always has been.

Moving from the Boleyn Ground felt like a positive move as fans were sold a dream.

That hasn't come true and there has been little purpose for the ground change other than the cheaper running costs.

The atmosphere has regularly been criticised and that has only been made worse by a drop into the Championship.

Things certainly aren't helped by London Stadium-related social media output that only continues to wind up fans in E20.

London Stadium social media post causes outrage

You would struggle to find a single fan who actually likes what the Olympic Park can offer.

It is arguably the worst matchday experience for a stadium of its size and is consistently slammed by travelling supporters.

That has sparked many to call for change to make the ground better for football.

The agreement for the London Stadium halts the Hammers from making those alterations as the arena is used for other events from athletics to concerts.

That was the reason behind the stadium's official X account, which posted a timelapse on Thursday with the caption: "POV: your stadium can do it all.

"From goals to charity matches to headline acts. See it transform in second."

It's safe to say that this post hasn't gone down well in claret and blue as one fan described it perfectly as "Jack of all trades, master of none."

Another suggested that it "Can do everything apart from being a football stadium."

That largely sums up the feeling of supporters in East London and sums up the problems the Irons have faced since moving grounds.

West Ham must demand London Stadium change moving forward

This post sums up the problem with the Olympic Stadium and why fans have long had a problem.

They have all wanted alterations to bring the fans closer to the pitch and to remove the gaps in between different levels within the stands.

That has always seemed highly unlikely, so the next best option is for West Ham to demand that the London Stadium social media doesn't post such tone deaf content.

A post boasting about how great a frankly terrible ground is was never going to go well and has been reflected in the comment section.

Relegation needs to act as a change in mentality in claret and blue, so changing what content goes out can help that.
