Artem Dovbyk transfer claim emerges as West Ham United table £29m bid
West Ham are likely to look favourably on the recovery of time of Artem Dovbyk after his injuries amid their transfer pursuit, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that the 27-year-old Girona striker is also likely to be doing well off the pitch in order to keep his fitness levels high.
This comes after Spanish media outlet Diario AS on 5 July that the Hammers tabled an offer north of £29million for the Ukraine striker.
Speaking exclusively with West Ham Zone, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said:
"He has shown to not be out for too long and generally, quicker recovery can be an indicator of higher levels of fitness.
"It gives you a greater margin to work with during rehab.
"It’s also a testament to habits and the physio staff he’s working with.
"Depending on the injury specifics, yes it could be something West Ham would look on favourably."

Dovbyk could be a great signing for the Hammers due to his impressive goal-scoring record and all-round play.
The Ukrainian forward was the top scorer in La Liga last season with 23 goals, demonstrating his ability to find the back of the net consistently.
He also contributed 10 assists, showing that he can create chances for his teammates as well.
Dovbyk is a powerful and physical striker who can hold up the ball and bring others into play, making him a good fit for the Premier League.
