West Ham United news as ‘Sensitive’ court action on cards – Finance Expert

Dan Plumley has insisted that any legal battle between West Ham United and the LLDC would be “sensitive” given the nature of their agreement.

It comes after Sean Whetstone reported that the Irons are disputing the non-enforcement of the comparable clause at the London Stadium, with prices through the roof, something that may have to be settled in court.

Plumley admitted that there is a bigger picture to the dispute, and any agreement will not be easy to reach between the two parties ahead of possible court action.

“It is very sensitive due to the nature of the agreement,” the finance expert exclusively told West Ham Zone.

“If you look at the bigger picture, West Ham have always won on that deal overall and continue to do so right now under the terms of that deal.

It’s always been there under the surface and West Ham have talked about in the past how they potentially get out of that deal in the future, particularly as the club has grown and European football and commercial success that has followed.

There is a bigger picture to this, but it is a very sensitive issue, especially given how good West Ham has had it over the years.

It’s not an easy one to unpick, so if it is to be a deal that there is a separation in the future or some sort of mutual ground, there will be a lot of talks on both sides and it’s not an easy one to resolve.”

London Stadium legal issues.

This has been an issue for years now with the LLDC and the club seemingly always at each others’ throats despite the beneficial agreement between the two.

With success coming to the London Stadium in all competitions, it is time that the fans were put first, something that appears to have been forgotten.

After the drama of deadline day and accusations flying around, this is just another issue.
