West Ham United make statement of intent after transfer developments
Dan Plumley has insisted that West Ham United have more scope to spend in the summer transfer window already.
The football finance expert has admitted that the Irons have made a statement of intent with big-money moves for Luis Guilherme and Max Kilman already.
Kilman arrived from Wolves for £40million [Ben Jacobs], with Guilherme also coming in from Brazil for £25million early in the summer window.
“West Ham are one of those clubs that if you look at where everyone is with PSR and which clubs can spend, not saying it’s an open chequebook, there is scope there to spend,” he exclusively told West Ham Zone.
“We know they made a couple of additions last summer, but overall, generally they are in a good financial state against some of the other teams in the the league that are in different positions.
“A new manager coming in, huge success in Europe in recent seasons, identifying needs to where they can grow the squad in the future and it seems like a statement of intent of them wanting to push on again.“

West Ham United make new transfer statements
David Sullivan has already been bold this summer with the Irons one of the big spenders in the Premier League as he looks to get business done early.
Julen Lopetegui will be happy with the work that Tim Steidten has done so far, with potentially more to come before the Premier League opener.
A striker is likely next, that is one to watch.
