West Ham United ace Jarrod Bowen injury news shared for Chelsea clash
West Ham attacker Jarrod Bowen is unlikely to have any fitness issues for the game against Chelsea, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that it’s hard to state if he suffered a re-injury in April which saw him miss the clash against Bayer Leverkusen on 19 April.
The Hammers take on the Blues on Sunday, 5 May, in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking exclusively with West Ham Zone, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said:
“Difficult to say if it’s a reinjury or if he was playing through discomfort for the Europa League game against Leverkusen.
“The reason could be it’s something new or he was already dealing with it and gutted through it for a big match.
“It’s hard to ascertain if it could have long-term effects but it is always possible and he may require a procedure come the end of the season.
“He played the full 90 minutes recently v Liverpool and I think he’s capable of soldiering on for the next few games.“
Jarrod Bowen has been in stellar form for West Ham this season
Bowen has undoubtedly been the best player for the Hammers this season and the club may be fielding calls for him over the summer.
He has been able to mask the flaws of the side as his goals have come in handy in guiding them to the top half.

The England international has bagged 16 goals and provided six assists in 32 Premier League games for Moyes’ side.
In other West Ham news, the club have been handed a major boost in appointing David Moyes’ replacement as a manager has made his future intentions clear.
