West Ham transfers: Sources share update on talks for Ezechiel Banzuzi

West Ham could soon begin talks for Ezechiel Banzuzi with OH Leuven waiting on an official bid, West Ham Zone has learned.

The two clubs need to discuss a fee for the attacking midfielder with the Hammers keen on signing him before the transfer deadline.

It is understood that a bid in the region of £10million may be enough for the London outfit to secure the services of the 19-year-old.

West Ham are yet to table a bid for Ezechiel Banzuzi

Sky Sports journalist Sacha Tavolieri that so far the Hammers have not made an official bid for Banzuzi and OH Leuven are understood to be waiting to see if any offer arrives.

They’re keen on signing an attacking midfielder in the January transfer window with Graham Potter tasked to get his side into the top half of the table.

While Banzuzi is a talented teenager, he may not be at the level to play week in and week out for the Irons.

Initially, the plan is likely to be to give him a few minutes off the bench to see whether or not he can adapt to life in the Premier League.
