‘West Ham to kickstart double deal with Yunus Musah’ as finances update emerges
West Ham could finally begin their summer business with Yunus Musah.
The Hammers are yet to confirm a single transfer at this stage of the window, causing high levels of frustration for Graham Potter in East London.
After a difficult end to the season, additions are certainly going to be necessary if the E20 outfit want to avoid a relegation battle next time out.
The annoyance around the summer could be set to change shortly, with Musah potentially set to make way for another signing at the London Stadium.

West Ham to bring Musah in from Milan
It is fair to say that the midfield area currently represents a sizable worry for the claret and blue faithful, with less than five weeks remaining until the new season.
As it stands, Tomas Soucek could be on his way out, a move which could seriously harm the Irons, who are already light in this area.
This could see a deal for Musah make complete sense at West Ham, especially considering the 22-year-old has already prepared for a San Siro exit this summer [Corriere dello Sport, 1 July].
With that being said, former Brentford and Leicester City boss Martin Allen believes the American’s addition could spark a double signing in the middle of the park for the Hammers.
This could prove to be hugely important in order to avoid a Premier League relegation battle.
Speaking exclusively to West Ham Zone, Allen said: “I wouldn’t know exactly what his wages are, but I do know that he is mobile, athletic, and West Ham do need someone like him.
“The team lacks athleticism, they are too slow to get around the pitch and are one of the oldest teams in the Premier League.
“Young players with pace and those sorts of attributes, they need at least two this summer to turn things around.
“Finances are tight after spending a huge amount last season, so there will be concern.
“What will it cost to get Musah in? What is the cost of staying in the Premier League?“

West Ham in need of midfield boost
With the departure of Carlos Soler back to PSG at the end of his loan spell, reinforcements are certainly going to be a requirement.
If Musah were to come in, it would be interesting to see who the ex-Valencia man could be joined by moving deeper into the summer.
Stat | Valencia (2019-2022) | AC Milan (2023-present) |
Appearances | 108 | 81 |
Goals | 5 | 0 |
Assists | 3 | 4 |
At this stage, almost any signing would be accepted by supporters at the London Stadium, with anyone better than no one at this stage.
