West Ham ‘to accept £10m for Guido Rodriguez’ amid Real Betis development
West Ham could be keen to part ways with Gudio Rodriguez after less than a year in East London.
The World Cup winner joined the Hammers under Julen Lopetegui on a free transfer, ending a four-year stint with La Liga outfit Real Betis.
It is fair to say that things haven’t worked out for the 30-year-old who has failed to cement himself a role in the Hammers’ first team.
Now it appears that a move out of the London Stadium back to Spain could be on the cards, which could suit all parties.

West Ham want £10m for Rodriguez from Real Betis
There is little need for the Argentina international in East London, especially with James Ward-Prowse returning from Nottingham Forest.
As a result, it is perfect timing that a move back to Real Betis is on the cards after a difficult Premier League campaign.
With that being said, the Irons will still be keen to receive a positive fee for the midfielder after signing him on a free contract at the start of the season.
Former Leicester City and Brentford boss Martin Allen believes £10m would be enough to test the Hammers’ resolve under Graham Potter.
Speaking exclusively to West Ham Zone, Allen said: “If they could get £10m, bring him in and move him on already.
“I don’t think he’s happy and Potter seems set on bringing in an English or British core to his side. If they could get £10m from a free transfer they would be absolutely delighted.
“I would think West Ham will want to move him on, the player will probably want to be leaving so that suits both parties.
“If they can get that fee, it would be a positive piece of business I would say.“

West Ham to welcome Rodriguez summer sale
There are so many better options than the defensive midfielder in the E20 squad this season that his sale makes complete sense.
Given that Edson Alvarez has proved himself under Potter, it appears that the Mexico international has that position locked down for now.
The Irons boss has even shown faith in youngster Lewis Orford ahead of the Argentine, which sums up his role in the squad right now.

If a sale can be agreed at the London Stadium at a price which suits David Sullivan and Co., there is no real reason to keep the former Real Betis man around.
