West Ham: Tim Steidten may now stay based on David Moyes sack decision – Pundit
Frank McAvennie believes that Tim Steidten may now stay at West Ham if David Sullivan makes the right David Moyes sack decision.
The sporting director’s future at the London Stadium is in jeopardy as is Moyes’ despite a recent update emerging on his sack at the club.
The Hammers take on Brentford later on Monday, 26 February, and a loss in that will mount further pressure on the Scotsman.
Speaking exclusively to West Ham Zone, McAvennie, the former Hammers striker said:
“Steidten’s future may depend on who’s going to be there.
“David Sullivan might say ‘Hold on. Moyes is not going to be here. Make a decision when that gets sorted.
“The manager’s job is to make sure that the players don’t walk out of the park having a laugh when they’re getting run over.”
David Moyes needs to make a quick change at West Ham United
Last season, the club’s dismal league performance was tolerated because they went on a run in Europe and eventually won the Conference League.
That has given Moyes credit in the bank but that will not last forever and he’s already facing the heat this season.

The style of football is nothing to write home about either and that’s probably what is making his job even harder than it is.
In other West Ham news, a manager with a 69 per cent Europa League win record is eyed to replace David Moyes at the London Stadium.
