West Ham ‘given green signal’ as Dominic Calvert-Lewin transfer news emerges

West Ham should not be too concerned with Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s previous injury issues, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that if the Hammers are to sign him, this would not be a high-risk signing as it would have been a year or two ago and has given them the green signal if they wish to pursue the deal.

Speaking exclusively with West Ham Zone, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said: “His record of muscular injuries and repeat injuries were certainly a red flag but it seems like he’s gotten out of that vicious cycle since the start of last season so it’s more of a yellow flag now.

As a club, I’d be curious to see what he changed if anything to do that to determine if it’s potentially just fortune or he’s made the requisite changes.

“This is not a high risk signing it would’ve been a year or two ago.”

West Ham must not sign Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Calvert-Lewin’s goal scoring record is far from ideal and the Hammers can do with better players.

Graham Potter likes his forwards to be versatile and ideally occupy all four attacking positions.

The England international clearly isn’t capable of doing that and he’s not a signing that’s needed this window.
